We offer guests the chance to stay in their own fully self-contained, three-bedroomed homestead. We only ever book one party at a time. This ensures our guests can relax in private and enjoy a genuine home-away-from-home feeling.

Meals

A full farm breakfast comprising both cooked and continental courses is included in the price of your room.

For other meals, you can self cater if you wish, as the homestead has its own fully equipped kitchen. Or by prior arrangement we are only too happy to extend an invitation to have your meals with us at the farmhouse. A third option is for us to cook for you, and bring the meals to you at the homestead.

Packed lunches are available on request.

We do our best to fit in with our guests’ dietary requirements and preferences. Marg is an accomplished cook, and produces delicious, wholesome meals. Many of the ingredients are sourced from the farm (including all the meat we need) or our extensive kitchen garden. Marg makes her own muesli, preserves her own fruit, makes her own jams and our hens provide the eggs.

Also, whilst most guests prefer to come over to our house for the evening meal, for those with younger children Marg often prepares the meal and serves it in the Farmstay so youngsters can be fed and put down early but with their parents close by, who can then eat at a more leisurely time and enjoy a drink or two before dinner .
